What is periodisation?
Long term planning of a training program.
Periodisation involves progressively cycling various aspects of training to create a desired effect. These training phases are based upon increasing and decreasing both volume and intensity when designing a program (amongst many other parameters).
The goal of a “standard” periodisation is to maximise your performance in training while minimising risk of injuries. Our goal in periodisation is to maximise performance in training without negatively impacting other areas of our members life.
