Boy of boy do I get it.
My competitive endeavours don’t need to stop and they won’t.
But my attitude around training had to change.
It didn’t change instantly but it did have to change.
I had to learn to be ok with not being all in.
I had to learn to be ok with a slower pace sometimes.
I had to learn to recognise how fatigued my body was from broken sleep.
I had to learn to prioritize my food intake to ensure I wasn’t just eating her scraps.
And guess what……I am still learning.
Reset your expectations
And show up for yourself.
Drop the weights if you need to
Drop a set if you need to
Do something off program if you need to
Reconnect with your body
And your mind.
You are strong Mumma, in this moment and in everyday life.
