With everything under one roof…
…we may be finding that we are working right up to the last minute…
We may find that we spend more time in which we are working
We may find that we are staying up late
Or sleeping in more
Or taking less breaks
Or taking more breaksโฆ
With everything under one roof the lines are getting blurred and the boundaries are getting crossed. The work creeps later, the snacks become more frequent, the TV watching increases.
During this time it is important to recognise and create boundaries around our own movements in order to serve our energy, our goals and our sanity.
Going back to that โbeing an adultโ type stuff.
Wake time: setting an โฐ that allows us to wake up and feel energised instead of rolling onto the computer wearing respectable clothes on topโฆand PJโs on the bottom (hello Zoom life).
Eating times: setting and respecting set meal times like you might have in the office in your usual days.
Work times: setting a time to โclock offโ instead of doing that extra 10 minutes that turns into 40 minutes because now you donโt need to commute.
Down time: everyone needs to recharge so schedule time for you. With a typical 40 hour work week, how much down time do you set aside? Start with how much time you are comfortable with and build up to your weekly goal.
Training times: working right up to 15 minutes before your session and rushing to get changed and do your activations & warm ups. Close down work and get ready earlier.

What boundaries do you need to set with your time right now?
Grab your journal and letโs get brainstorming
Schedule alarms into your phone.
Book appointments into your calendar.
Create appointments around things that need to be respected and set.
Walk over your own boundaries now and we walk into a world of frustration down the track x
