When our ladies have purpose in their training killer results follow.
A huge element of what we do is explore, discuss and determine goals that are relevant to our ladies.
Not just setting goals for the sake of it.
Setting goals that have grunt behind them.
Goals that have more than just an end result.
More than just “I want to get fitter and stronger”.
More than just “I want to lose body fat”.
Goals that give our ladies something more and lays out opportunities for growth, physically and mentally.
By bringing purpose to our training and setting performance related goals, we change the way we look at training, which in turn impacts that way we show up.
When you change your thoughts, you change your actions which change your outcomes.
We build more feeling, more life lessons, more confidence, more belief in themselves. We build more chances for our ladies to step into their power and unleash the strength they know that is inside but cannot pull out themselves.
This is the underpinning of purpose driven training for us.
It’s not just about wanting to lose 10kg.
That is the end result she is after.
That end result will come when she builds behaviours to support success in the short and long term.
Purpose driven performance related goals encourage our ladies to create habits that tie to something bigger.
When she wants to work towards squatting her body weight, consistency in training becomes a reality. Eating for nourishment becomes a conscious thought. Going to bed at a reasonable time becomes a built in habit.
Before she knows it, the weight on the scale that she has once obsessed about starts to drop and the approach is much different. She is now squatting her body weight for reps and she feels so fukn fabulous about herself! She starts to think bigger and wonders what else she can do!
This is training with purpose!
And this is one of the big reasons we run our beloved Lifting Parties 3x per year.
This is an event where our ladies get to test their max lifts and see what they’re capable of.
Because it gives us more to train for!
And more to encourage in our lives than just wishing and hoping we could lose more on the scale.
Our first Lifting Party for 2020 has been set: March 7th!
12 more weeks to build and nurture purpose.
Three more 4 week training phases.
Our final intake for Brigade starts December 16th.
