Strength training is the vehicle we use as a catalyst for growth and development in our lives.
As we increase the weight on the barbell and show up session to session, rep to rep- the lessons we learn as we chase physical goals flows and influences so many areas of our lives.
The women of BBB are kicking so many life goals right now and we love sharing the incredible achievements of our squad.
The following examples are from eight of our ladies here at BBB:
1. SHE FOUND HER VOICE
She went for a job interview and didn’t take the initial offer. Instead she told the employer what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to speak up. From here they created a whole new role for her and she can’t believe that all she had to do was remember what she deserved.
2. STEPPED INTO DISCOMFORT
She entered Powerlifting comp despite being shit scared and her confidence since has exuded in everything she has been doing since then.
3. PAY IT FORWARD
She decided she wanted to be a Coach and help people uncover their true potential-to live life fully just like she has.
4. VALUES ALIGNMENT
She listened to her internal GPS and kept her values at the forefront of her mind. She made a huge life decision to move interstate that was both scary and confusing. This has since opened up so many opportunities in her career.
5. ENVIRONMENT CHANGE
She made the decision to leave a stable contract because she knew she wanted more from her working environment. Despite feeling nervous she held the belief in herself and is now in a role in a work place that is exactly where she wanted to be since graduating University.
6. CONFRONT HER ANXIETY
She recognised her triggers, tackled them head first and stopped hiding from them. She literally took one of the most terrifying things and stuck her middle finger up at it and did it anyway.
7. RECOGNISED HER TRUE STRENGTH
Her physical strength is incredible and her mental strength is making waves. She entered a comp that she knew was going to pose so many personal obstacles and just went for it. She knew that this event was going to be one that made her uncomfortable but she knows that she has the tools to face it anyway.
8. TAKING CHARGE
She recognised that food is something she needs help with and took charge of her results by asking and actioning. The questions are tough and they can be uncomfortable but she did it anyway.
These are just a small example of the incredible things that our women achieve.
Its more than just lifting weights!
Keep kicking ass ladies x
