JUST STRONG ALL WOMEN’S POWERLIFTING COMPETITION
Sunday 10th December at Strength and Fitness Australia in Hawthorn, 19 women stepped onto the platform competing in the first all Women’s PA sanctioned Powerlifting Competition.
Bringing a team of 4, Barbell Babes Brigade were honoured to be co-hosting this inaugural event.
Our Team consisted of the following:
Kris Pearton
Brochelle Higgins
Naomi Gulinello
Rochene Higginson
Lets take a look at how our ladies performed.
Kris had an incredible day taking out gold in the 84+kg weight class. Kris competed on the IPF stage for the first time and proved that age is no barrier. At 45 years young Kris has had huge success this year. Losing over 10kg, stronger than ever, significant technique improvements and completely injury free, we are all so proud and inspired by what “Aunty” has achieved.
