We live in a day where things are fast paced, life is busy and we have multiple roles and tasks that we might need to juggle.
We can feel like it’s too much to handle sometimes and stress can rise higher and higher with every frustration. We can often wake up thinking how tired we are.
We may complain about time and the lack of it. We may get stressed about finances and think if only we had more it would solve so many problems. We may get frustrated with not enough progress achieved at work.
Beating ourselves up with our lack of growth and the frustrated cycle continues to perpetuate.
We can be hyper aware of the things we are lacking in our lives which pushes us further and further into a scary bubble. We may only focus on the things that we lack and often forget how far we have come and how much abundance we truly have.
Your attitude will influence your growth
If we wake up every morning, moaning about how little sleep we had,
how is that going to influence your day?
If we constantly focus on our perceived lack of results in training,
how is that going to affect how we show up for each session?
If we are constantly running this same story, the shitty negative
version that constantly highlights where we feel inadequate, there is no
surprise that our demeanour, energy and actions will reflect the
We may sabotage our eating.
“Stuff it, I had a crappy sleep, I’ve had a crappy day, I need this to feel better.”
We give ourselves permission to engage in behaviour that we know will make us feel worse.
“Work was nuts, I’m going to skip my session and go and sit on the couch”.
We know that these actions don’t help us move forward.
We know that the food we are going to use as comfort will make us feel like shit after.
We know that skipping that session is just a cop out.
But in that moment, those options are easier.
We give ourselves these excuses disguised as legitimate reasons as to why we are doing what we are doing.
We push our goals further and further away.
Because we refuse to be honest and step into why this keeps occurring.
If this is resonating with you and you can see these behaviour present in your life, we get it!
We know that this can happen because we have been there before, we still may be there and we too face the same shit as you.
But it doesn’t have to be like that.
You can change your attitude.
You can change your mindset.
And you can take charge of your results.
This starts with your ability to become aware.
Over the years that we have worked with women, we have seen many developing and growing this skill set.
From not understanding why they are sabotaging food at night and
We have also seen the other side of the spectrum.
Your attitude from the moment you wake up to the minute you go to sleep is something that you can control.
You can choose how you react and how you behave.
Even in the shittiest of circumstances.
Yes there will be situations that occur completely out of your control.
This is one of the wonderful aspects of life.
Diversity in experiences.
How you choose to show up each day will dictate the results you achieve.
How is your attitude moving you forward?
